Accounts Assistant

This local firm of chartered accountants are recruiting a position which would be perfect for someone looking for a new challenge with a couple of years Accountancy Practice experience behind them. You must have experience of accounts production for sole trader and limited company accounts, VAT and bookkeeping, from a similar role within a firm of accountants. Duties will include: Accounts Assistant: Previous experience within a practice is essential together with excellent communication skills. Outline of duties below: - Preparation of accounts of Ltd companies/ Partnerships/ Sole traders - Personal tax returns - Payroll queries & some payroll - P11Ds - Profit Forecasting - Tax Forecast & planning - Client queries - Assisting clients with their accounting systems - Accounting systems/ Bookkeeping/ VAT returns Candidates will be qualified AAT or studying toward ACCA/ACA (they must have completed the business and personal tax modules). Salary range of £21K - £24K depending on experience. My client is keen for a candidate who is motivated to complete their study for full membership to ACCA/ACA and for this we offer assistance toward training.
