Financial Accountant Swindon £45,000 + OT Bonus of 5% This is an opportunity for a talented individual to join and progressive and fast growing company in a pivotal Finance role. As a Financial Accountant, reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will act as a member of the Finance team helping it to achieve its operational objectives and ensuring that it delivers a high quality and cost-effective service to the business.

I am looking for someone who is a either a Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with well-rounded accounting experience, and the ambition and drive to build their career with the business. The Role Monitor cash position, complete daily cash reconciliations and monthly postings to GL. Support month end revenue and expense postings. Reconcile and analyse balance sheet accounts on a regular basis. Preparation and posting of annual OAL accounts. Manage GL postings. Debt and complaints provision calculation. Preparation of regulatory reports. Preparation of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax computations. Create and maintain successful relationships with internal and external suppliers and customers. Respond to queries and issues arising in a timely and professional manner. Requirements Qualified or Finalist Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with well-rounded previous accounting experience. Advanced Excel and other Microsoft package skills. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics GP advantageous. Ideally experience of working in a financial accounting role within a large organisation. Experience of HMRC & FCA reporting useful. Professional manner; enthusiastic and positive attitude. Flexible attitude, willing to support other team members with cover and assistance. Able to build relationships with key stakeholders. Competent time management skills; able to prioritise, resource, and plan workload; able to take initiative when appropriate.
