Whitehill Pelham are recruiting for a part time Finance Manager to join our fast growing start-up client based in central Cambridge.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for establishing the finance function, designing the processes and selecting & implementing an Accounting system. The role will be wide and varied including both operational and strategic elements from processing payroll and AP invoices through to the production of management accounts, controlling the budgeting process and preparation of statutory accounts.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with a background of working in a high growth entrepreneurial start-up or SME and have experience of establishing a finance function or managing a significant change project. Above all the desire and willingness to complete both transactional and strategic elements of this role are a must.

It is envisaged that this role will be 2 to 3 days a week depending on the candidate's experience.

Contract Length: c3 months
