Reed Accountancy are currently working with a South Birmingham based client to recruit a part qualified Finance Manager. The Role:
• Responsible to Assistant Director with day to day management of the Financial draw down process the FME has a key role in delivering on financial oversight and support for the 13 finance and estate teams.
• The suitable candidate will havea developed knowledge of all aspects of financial accounting and database reporting using the SYMPHONY MIS.
• The ability to communicate and interpret requirements for colleagues
• They will be responsible for routine financial planning in the delivery of estate services and adherence to the Corporate Plan and
annual Business Plans. This involves working closely with the organisations colleagues, Service units and organisations, networking
with a cross section of organisations. The Person:
• We seek an individual with excellent inter personal skills who is an experienced, personable and outgoing networker and influencer and is capable of operating with minimal direction.
• Has a good understanding of the public sector environment, with demonstrable enthusiasm for the agenda.
• Modern and forward thinking in outlook, an able presenter and competent in the use of IT.
• Previous experience of working in Facilities Management across a multi-site portfolio is desirable. The suitable candidate will be AAT Qualified or ACCA / CIPFA Part qualified
