Commercial Business Analyst

Permanent job opportunity for an experienced and confident Business Analyst with a Group based in Swindon.


Your new company
You will be joining a multi-million pound market-leading organisation with headquarters based in Swindon who have developed an excellent reputation for offering exceptional products at great value. You will report into the Managing Director with a dotted line into the Finance Director and will work alongside a number of key stakeholders in the business. This is a newly created role to support with the growth of the business.

Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop reports to provide a clear picture of the current business operations/projects
• Provide insightful analysis to aid continued business improvement
• Analyse and evaluate internal strategic initiatives to include new product developments/capital expenditure
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting and produce necessary reports and presentations
• Develop financial analytics to challenge sales plans and track performance
• Monitoring performance against set KPIs and work with stakeholders to put improvement measures in place
• Maintain database integrity

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be an enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop internal processes and ensure results are met. You will need to either have a professional Accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or have a Finance related degree with experience working in a finance role. You will need excellent Microsoft Excel skills and will need to have a proven track record of managing large volumes of data.
