Finance Manager Fixed term contract: 6 months - with potential to become permanent.
Hours: 3 days per week - flexible hours.
Salary: DOE
Location: Poole. What you need to have: Degree or equivalent experience
- Formal accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Desirable.
Qualified by Experience acceptable - At least 3 years' experience of at least middle management gained preferably, although not necessarily, within the academic sector. About the job: This is a short term contract with a very flexible employer, they are happy to discuss the working days and length of contract term. As this role is for a school, if you are successful, you must undergo a full DBS check - the cost of which will be met by
the employer. You will assist the CFO in preparing long-term strategic budget planning information whilst maintaining financial records that meet legal and tax requirement amongother duties, including - fraud and risk management, capital development and income generation
strategies. Being able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholdersis absolutely necessary for this role as is the ability to design and produce documentation and correspondence; maintain financial systems and records; run reports and
analyse data. You must be able to run reports, analyse data and present information to a wide range of stakeholders whilst working independently with the ability to make decisions. Due to high volumes of applicants for our roles, we may be unable to respond to unsuccessful applications.
