Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. A leading listed organisation based in Cambridge are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their corporate reporting team.
Reporting to the Corporate Manager you will be joining a business that has a strong finance offering and an organisation who are a 'go to' in their respective area of specialism, offering opportunities to progress and develop.
The role will focus on several aspects of compliance and reporting for the UK and wider group, you will be dealing with financial statements, ensuring deadlines are met for reporting purposes, group consolidations, oversight of tax compliance for the UK and overseas entities as well as supporting senior management with statutory filing for the group. This role will offer up the opportunity to suggest and take a proactive approach to process improvement.
The successful applicant will ideally be ACCA/ACA qualified as a first time mover from the profession or an individual currently in industry looking for more exposure within a listed business. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple entity requirements and manage stakeholders accordingly. This role will suit an individual who enjoys a fast paced environment, ownership of financial matters and development.
