Accounts Payable Assistant - Contract 2/3 month contract city Start immediately €19 per hour DOE Accounts Payable - Logging of supplier Invoices / credit notes on internal system - Following up with approvers to ensure compliance with 15 day prompt payment regulation - Processing of weekly supplier payment run - Prepare and process the professional service withholding tax deductions - Prepare and process VAT 3 Supplier payments - Completion of weekly prompt payment report - Investigate and seek clarification of variances between purchase orders and invoices - Ensure signed contracts on file for specific suppliers/roles before processing payments. - Dealing with supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements - Day to day administration tasks e.g. creating suppliers, supplier maintenance, filing, following up on delivery dockets, issuing F45 forms etc. - Assist in the development of monthly management reports. Other support - Support team to deliver all financial functions in a timely and efficient manner - Proving cover in maintaining bank records and reconciliations for the Management Accounts. - Provide support to the T&S functions - Any other duties within the general requirement of the role which may be required from time to time Experience Required - Relevant third level qualification (e.g. Certificate, Diploma, Accounting Technician), or equivalent is essential - Several years financial/administration experience - Strong organisational skills - Capacity to review the work of colleagues - Experience of working within a framework of confidentially - Proficient in use of integrated financial accounting systems e.g. Sun System - Proficient in MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook Competencies - Attention to detail - Communication skills - Team work - Customer Service and support - Analytical skills - Building and maintaining relationships Corporate writing skills - Flexibility and adaptability - Problem solving and decision making - Organisation awareness
