The Opportunity for this Finance Leader: This Senior Finance Manager job in Galway offers fast-track promotion opportunities to Finance Director level and beyond. It will suit a promotion-ready Qualified Accountant with approx 15 years leadership experience in a multinational company, with proven abilities in financial planning and management of a multi-million/billion dollar business. You should expect to be promoted to Finance Director within 2 years. About the job: No.2 to the current Finance Director, the Senior Finance Manager will be empowered with finance performance optimisation of the full manufacturing and R&D facility in Galway, which includes numerous product lines. With an excellent team of top-performing, highly-experienced Financial Analysts to manage, your savvy leadership & team motivation skills and your staff retention techniques will be utilised to its fullest, in this rewarding Finance Leader position. As well as project managing the annual 3-5 year strategic planning process, the annual budget process (to include setting costs and pricing) and the quarterly In-Year forecast updates, you will present the management reporting submission packs to the HQ in the US and manage communications on site performance. As their Strategic Business Partner, you will provide Managers and VPs of Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D and Quality with insights into the financial implications of business decisions. You will develop a keen understanding of their cost & performance drivers in order to develop and implement robust financial strategies, while also creating effective, competitive and accurate financial plans to ensure corporate goals and performance expectations are achieved for the Galway site. And as an integral member of the Site Senior Management team, you will lead process improvement initiatives within finance and across the business. Remuneration Package: An Executive Level package of c€110,000-140,000 comprising of a significant base salary, bonus, car allowance, discounted stock options, contributory pension, healthcare insurance, relocation allowance and other benefits associated with a Finance Leader role in a multinational company.
