Commercial Finance Analyst

The Commercial Analyst responsibility will include analysis and reporting, stakeholder management and forecasting and sales reporting. The role will involve strong elements of business partnering and commercial analysis. You will need to understand what is going on across multiple sales channels and geographies of the business, analysing variances whilst also developing robust reporting and forecasting processes.

The client are an international manufacturing firm specialising in high-quality components for the construction industry. They have a global presence and are hugely well-regarded in their industry.

Description

The key responsibilities will include:

-Consistently track and measure KPI, forecast performance and monitor risks/opportunities on a rolling basis.

-Develop and prepare monthly reporting around customer pull through / point of sales to drive sales team activity and support forecast assumptions

- Ad hoc project work, analysing complex and detailed financial data

- Prepare month end financial reports and support monthly sales/operations reporting including performance tracking vs Budget and Prior Year

- Support development of the annual budget and business plan, and financial forecasts

-Work with Business Intelligence analyst to build reporting and dashboards in Business Object and Tableau to drive the business

-Support pricing and rebates processes in SAP through analysis

Profile

The successful candidate would ideally have:

-Previous experience in working in a commercially focused finance role.

-Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.

-Self-starter and capable of working independently where required.
