Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks a Senior Associate, Investment Management Administration, Office of COO in New York, New York

Provide support across the business. Develop and manage standard and ad hoc divisional reporting, such as expenses, space, compliance, and contingent resources. Develop and administer key business policies and processes, such as governance, contingent labor, and space management. Perform data analysis and synthesis as well as model development. Coordinate projects for divisional and Firm-level initiatives, such as acquisitions, outsourcing, space strategy/planning, and budget development. Act as divisional liaison to key Firm businesses and support groups, such as Finance, Corporate Services, Human Resources, and Re-engineering and Expense Management. Define business requirements for technology development efforts and related processes, such as user acceptance testing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

Requires a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years of experience as an Analyst, Associate, or related occupation in financial services. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of experience in lieu of a Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience. Requires two (2) years of experience with: project management; relationship development; financial planning; workforce strategy; space planning; process re-engineering; model development; MS Excel including data manipulation, advanced formulas, arrays, pivot tables, and VBA; SAP Business Objects or Fieldglass; MS PowerPoint including creating and editing presentations; MS Word; the financial services industry focused on global business operations; the banking regulatory environment; liaising with senior management from Investment Management business units or Control/Support groups; working with data sets from multiple sources; cost analysis; and collaborating with global work groups to ensure process standardization. Requires one (1) year of experience with: presenting to C-level management; change management; stakeholder management; user acceptance testing; and scenario analysis. Requires Microsoft Office master certification.
