Broad Financial Accountant role within an expanding, Media/E-commerce firm based in Central London. Great progression within a growing business offering £60K + Bonus + Perks.

The Client

I'm partnering with a leading Media/E-commerce firm based in Central London. As a business they have a really broad remit, including with a number of well-known brands within the group, and are continuing to expand on a global scale, majority of which by organic growth.

Offering exactly what you would expect from a media environment (fast-paced, great team environment with team socials, flex-working etc.) they are looking to develop their team at the qualified level and bring in a Financial Accountant into their London Office. They have a really smart office space and due to the completely open plan set up finance are right in amongst it, meaning you will get great exposure to a number of the varied projects that they have going on.

Description

The Role

This Financial Accountant role with have a broad reporting remit, offering a great finance foundation for a first move into industry, and will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the consolidated reporting processes: overseeing the production of the monthly and annual consolidated reporting for the group. Including oversight of VAT and tax requirements.
  • Commercial: Ad hoc analysis, tax analysis, cash flow forecasting.
  • Acquisition accounting and on-boarding of new acquisitions (as and when applicable)
  • Process/Systems Improvements: ongoing proactive analysis of current systems and processes, implementing changes where needed to support continued growth and expansion.

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Consolidation exposure (preparation of or audit)
  • Media or E-commerce background highly desirable (either client-based or within industry)
  • Able to commute to Central London
