We Offer

Group Operations (GO) carries out high quality and efficient banking services to clients across Credit Suisse’s business divisions ensuring an excellent execution of millions of transactions daily. We operate globally in four regions – 'Switzerland', 'APAC', 'Americas' and 'UK Entities, Wroclaw & other Regional Offices'.

GO in India has staff based across its offices in Pune and Mumbai and serves clients and businesses globally. Pune forms one of the major service delivery centers for us where activities related to trade validation, settlement, reconciliation and reference data services are performed across products and asset classes. Key responsibilities would be:

  • Production / review of the monthly and year-end US GAAP Financial Statements in the PeopleSoft general ledger. This includes P&L, BS and Off BS reporting. Additionally ensuring that the general ledger balances upload into the Swiss reporting module (ADAC) accurately.
  • Production / review of the annual IFRS GAAP published financial statements.
  • Liaising with the entity regulatory reporting group. Includes having an understanding of the regulatory reporting process and ensuring that a hand off of the financial numbers to the regulatory group.
  • Review of New Business transactions and the setting of new business ‘conditions’ to the upstream owners including front office, operations and product control.
  • Managing the FA owned account ownership process, this includes that detailed legal entity FX exposure process controls.
  • Manage hand-offs with other FA departments e.g. Central Controls and Intercompany Team
  • Liaising with various teams (e.g. Product Controller, Legal Entity Controller, CRM, Operations), where necessary, to gather relevant information required supporting reporting or analytical review purpose.
  • Coordinating the request for financial summary information and consolidating the data into the management reporting pack on a monthly basis
  • Support any onshore review, standard or ad hoc queries required from sending location.
  • Participate in working groups for any project implementations, provide user acceptance testing support and post deployment production testing.
  • Ongoing operational improvements to improve current reporting process.

You Offer

  • You have a minimum of 8 years post-graduation experience in finance function (either financial or regulatory reporting) of banks or financial institutions.
  • Accounting knowledge necessary, with good grasp of financial accounting and reporting concepts
  • Knowledge of banking products whether through prior work experience or through academic training is an advantage.
  • Proficient skills with MS Excel are essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, and be comfortable working with large amounts of transactional data using primarily spreadsheet tools.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to exercise sound judgement.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken English) as you will have to liaise with multiple teams globally.
  • Flexible and able to accommodate time zone differences
