As Executive Manager – Financial Crime Compliance, Policy Governance you will drive the future of our business, working on highly visible projects that make an impact, and helping make sure we make the right decisions along the way.

Your role will be to coordinate and drive change to enhance the financial crime policy framework within FCC.You will oversee delivery of policy changes within FCC, ensuring a focus on quality, execution and compliance with relevant legislation and the Group Policy Framework (GPF).

You will be focused on ensuring changes to FCC policies and standards are appropriately managed, with the support of FCC Advisory teams, Group Governance and the FCC Training and Communication teams who will drive change management. This will mean working closely with our customers, stakeholders and colleagues, both locally and internationally, to build on and refine the existing interaction model.

You will be required to forge strong relationships with members of the financial crime community both internally and externally as well as other stakeholder groups to drive outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of FCC policy changes
  • Ensure FCC policy priorities and progress are clearly and regularly communicated to key stakeholders
  • Act as a coordination point for changes in regulatory priorities impacting policy changes
  • Act as a liaison point for Group Governance and the Better Risk Outcomes Project team for all matters concerning the FCC policy suite
  • Chair working groups overseeing policy and standard revisions
  • Oversee and manage FCC’s training and development team, ensuring that training material is aligned with policy and standard content to maximise impact
  • Forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly key business stakeholders and the Groups’ Financial Crime community

The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the group’s financial crime shared services. FCC leads the Group’s approach to managing AML / CTF, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption risks and obligations through the provision of the following services:

  • Policy and frameworks
  • Regulatory engagement
  • Financial Crime training
  • Advice and assurance
  • Correspondent Banking due diligence
  • Complex financial crime related escalations

We would love to speak to people with the following:

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in a compliance, AML / CTF, Sanctions and ABC, with a specific focus on policy, including governance frameworks – preferably with qualifications in law
  • Good understanding of the financial crime regulatory framework with technical knowledge of AML / CTF, Sanctions and ABC
  • Excellent co-ordination and stakeholder management skills with proven experience to influence large senior stakeholders groups to support investment decisions
  • Ability to schedule and prioritise competing priorities involving many stakeholders
