An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Somerset region, based in Taunton, for a qualified ACA, ACCA or finalist level accountant with a background in accountancy practice joining as a Senior leading to Manager , within an expanding firm. The role has come about through a combination of organic growth, office expansion and acquisition. The firm is in a growth and development phase and the incoming individual will carve a key, pivotal role and position within the firms operations. You will become responsible for a full client portfolio overtime, managing the general practice services requirements for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Turnovers and industries are wide ranging and varied, up to the audit threshold in turnover, with services across accounts, tax and general practice all round requirements.You will develop long term relationships with your clients with significant opportunity to develop advisory services, planning and project work. As a key addition to the team, your role, responsibilities and career will progress with genuine medium and long term career progression potential on offer in this growing firm.

Profile

ACA or ACCA qualified, or at finalist level or highly experienced with AAT, or QBE, you will have a background working within an independent practice firm environment. You will have experience of both hands on and ideally managerial delivery of accounting services across a mixture accounts preparation, tax etc to varied clients, at Senior or Manager level. You will be seeking an opportunity with genuine career progression and development potential and be looking to manage your own portfolio, developing relationships and your client base.

Job Offer
