As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the Director with compliance work with the opportunity to get involved in advisory work as you gain experience and qualifications. Join the Business Services team to assist in the delivery of departmental work flows and work within the Uxbridge Office.

Description
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the Director with compliance work with the opportunity to get involved in advisory work as you gain experience and qualifications.
You will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients and duties will include:
- To assist with bookkeeping assignments using Xero and Sage or Quickbooks. Providing assistance to clients to meet Making Tax Digital requirements.
- Liaising with the firm's partners and accounts managers to ensure that client deadline management is met.
- Preparation of analysis of client accounting records for accounts work.
- Assist in the completion and e-filing of VAT returns.
- Assist in preparing micro entity accounts in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102(1a).
- Assist in the delivery of the department's client payroll details and communications thereon.
- Liaising with internal client managers and partners to ensure that all the accounts administrative functions are completed as required.
- Drafting of standard accounts packs and delivery via the client portal.
- Assist when required with booking in client records and maintaining departmental deadline management records.
- Drafting client fee notes for partner approval.
- Providing assistance to complete other departmental administrative tasks.
Profile
- The successful candidate will have good communication and organisation skills. They must have excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office products as this is fundamental to the position.
- Must be prepared to work in a team.
- Although not essential, ideally the candidate would have a finance based background and have experience of using Xero or Sage and/or Quickbooks. Training will be provided as required.
- Will suit either a part qualified ACCA or AAT studier. A study package maybe available for the right individual.
Job Offer
- Full time position Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch
- The position is in the company's Uxbridge office
- Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Holiday: 20 days, plus 8 bank holiday
