I am recruiting for an exciting Finance Business Partner position for in an industry leading manufacturing business located on the Wirral. The role will be a varied and interesting position, where you will get the opportunity to drive company performance, influence strategy, and play a crucial role in the business future growth.

My client is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner, who can influence across departments, with strong commercial awareness to influence company strategy, and improve profitability.

Description

The Finance Business Partner will play an exciting and varied role, with responsibilities including but not limited to;

  • Prepare and deliver commercial and financial information to senior leadership.
  • Work across departments including Sales & Operations to improve understanding and performance.
  • Taken ownership various finance reports by product group, customer and markets.
  • Provide analysis and insight of operational performance.
  • Support in departmental budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide analysis of performance vs budget and forecasts.
  • Provide financial support for all commercial decision-making and future opportunities.
  • Challenge established processes and systems to help deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist in the improvement of overhead reporting.
  • Support with cross department communication and collaboration

    • Profile

    Due to the importance of this position, the Finance Business Partner should;

  • Be CIMA or ACCA qualified, with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Experience leading on budgeting & forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail, with good analytical abilities
  • Confident communicator, with excellent influencing and presentation skills
  • Ability to present complex financial to non-finance departments and managers
  • Advanced Microsoft of and ERP experience
  • Challenge to courage senior leadership and current working processes
