Management Accountant

Badenoch & Clark are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant, situated North of Cambridge. Our client are a global business who and market leaders within their industry looking to expand their operations due to business growth.You will be supporting the Finance Manager and Commercial Accountant (where required) with financial reporting and analysis.Responsibilities: *Assisting with the preparation of management accounts including reporting packs/commentary and analysis*Assisting with the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual business plans.*Preparation of analysis in respect of WIP, Debt and Cash positions on contracts.*Assist the Commercial Accountant with financial reporting *Liaise with local & Group support functions (i.e. Finance Shared Service Centre)*Completion of balance sheet reconciliations *Attending Contract manager meetings where required*Complete ad-hoc analysis as required by the Commercial Accountant & wider business *Deputising for the Commercial Accountant where required. *Work with contract commercial and operational management to drive contract performance Requirements: *Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA), finalist or newly qualified*Finance experience ideally gained in a commercial or management accounting role*Experience of assisting in all areas of management accounts, specifically budgets and forecasts*Excel literate, including macros *Able to manage pressure *Ability to challenge and question operational management *Meet strict deadlines*Be an excellent team playerAt times you will be working autonomously so you must be a self-starter, naturally driven and an ambitious individual looking to develop personally and professionally.At Badenoch & Clark, we've helped candidates and clients make the right connections since 1978.
