Financial Controller

Financial Controller Luton £75-90k plus car allowance, bonus, etc.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA divisional financial controller to join a highly recognised Plc organisation with a global footprint.

Reporting to the Director of finance, you will be presented with a highly commercial opportunity to provide a leading brand name within the group with financial control and commercial and analytical support to aid delivery of goals and objectives in a controlled environment, aligned to business strategy.

Typical duties will include;

• Produce periodic accounts according to relevant accounting practices and policies, managing both the Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
• Provide Commercial support for business decisions and new business opportunities.
• Provide performance analysis on business data to support business decision making
• To ensure business stakeholders understand performance metrics on their respective business areas.
• Continually review business performance in conjunction with the economic environment and competitors

This is a demanding and challenging role where you will take responsibility for a small team, promote financial understanding and control within the business, champion best practice and ensure you remain up to date with regulatory changes and current industry thinking.

You will be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 5 years PQE with strong relationship building skills as well as man management skills. In addition, you will be commercially focused with a strong track record of adding value in large organisations.
