Michael Page are partnering with leading independent accountancy practice and chartered accountants, based in Taunton looking to recruit a Partner Designate or Partner, on a salaried or equity basis as a pivotal key hire into their team. The firm has grown through mainly organic, ongoing and sustained positive growth based from their office on the edge of city with easy access off the M5 motorway. With seven partners and circa fifty staff, the firm services a very wide-ranging client base across varying sectors throughout the South and South West of England. These clients range in size from small sole traders to large businesses with multi £million turnover. As a result of ongoing growth and planning for the future development of the firm, the partners are looking to expand the team with this all-round general practice and tax advisor. The successful individual will carve an influential role, playing a major part in the future development of the firm, whilst joining a collegiate team where every partner has an opportunity to make a real difference. Description

Based at the firm's Taunton office, the successful candidate will join at Partner Designate or Partner level. You will play a lead role in taking on a substantial portfolio of wide-ranging OMBs, SMEs and individual clients overseeing the delivery of accounting, taxation and significant planning and business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets. You will develop and build strong relationships with clients, in a client facing capacity, advising on accounting, tax and added value services. You will also work across the entire firm's client range on complex and rewarding advisory work involving various degrees of business and tax planning. You will work closely alongside your fellow partners networking, delivering seminars and developing relationships and will look to further the growth and development of the firm, carving a key position within this highly successful firm of accountants.

Profile

You will be ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified, or hold a similar qualification. You will currently be operating at Senior Manager / Associate / Director /Partner Level. You will bring demonstrable experience of delivering all round accounting, tax and planning services to a sizeable portfolio of clients across a wide-ranging mix of OMBs. You will be a strong all-round advisor on accounts, tax and advisory work and be able to demonstrate a partner led, client facing, quality service approach, looking to build further on these strengths and carve a career within this leading independent firm of accountants.
