Management Accountant role based in the City of London for one of the UK's leading Business Services companies.

My client has been rated within the top 100 Small Businesses to Work For for the last 7 consecutive years. My client is looking for a new driven Management Accountant to join their Finance Team based in the City of London.

Description

Key responsibilities of this role included:

• Working with external accountants to build forecasting and cashflow models

• Analyse and identify business processes in need of optimisation - work with Finance Manager and Accountants to implement structured systems and processes

• Project manage and maintain streamlined processes

• Dealing with accounting queries and issues for the BE Offices group

• Assisting with monthly management accounts for multiple subsidiaries

• Assist with preparation of statutory accounts

• Assist with VAT returns

• Assisting in the audit process

• Some transactional work (posting invoices, journals and payments) relating to the more complex subsidiaries

Profile

A successful candidate would display the following:

• Good oral and written communication skills

• The ability to work as part of a team

• Comfortable dealing with department heads and directors

• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities

• Sound business knowledge

• Accuracy and an eye for detail.
