Next Brands are a crucial part of Next. Stock from around 700 brands is delivered to and picked from our distribution network in the UK and Internationally. This area of the business continues to grow

The Team: -

Branded Stock Finance are a small team working alongside Warehouse Stock Finance and reporting into the Warehouse Stock Finance Manager. We also work closely with the Branded merchandising team and Warehouse Management, and act as a point of contact for the brands themselves.

About the Role:-

  • Act as a point of contact for queries from external and internal partners, taking ownership of any issues to ensure a positive outcome
  • Produce and interrogate reports to assist merchandisers and brands in understanding their stock position. These may take the form of regular reports and ad hoc requests
  • Support the Stock Finance team to reconcile Branded stock movements within the financial accounts
  • Compile and interrogate stock reconciliations to identify and verify stock loss
  • Investigate delivery queries including liaison with the branded refurb, warehouse and distribution teams
  • Monitor existing processes, and provide support for new Branded initiatives and developments
  • Support the Label and Warehouse team with Return to Brand movements
  • Study support will be offered to work towards a CIMA or similar qualification

Criteria

About You: -

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience using Excel and other reporting tools
  • Ability to absorb and retain information, to gain an understanding of multiple complex processes both physical and systematic.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, to be able to interact with and influence people at all levels both inside and outside our organisation
  • An organised approach, positive outlook and desire to learn are essential

All interviews will take place at our warehouse office in South Elmsall, Pontefract. If you are successful you will be invited to attend a first stage interview which will be competency based, lasting approximately 1 hour. You will also be asked to complete a short Excel-based exercise during this time. Thereafter the final stage will involve a second interview with the Logistics Financial Controller.
