The Role:

A very exciting opportunity has been made available for a Big 4 experienced candidate with ASX listed clients or a Senior Financial Accountant with a strong Big 4 Background to contribute to the long & short term success of a multi-national ASX listed business.

The role exists to assist the Finance team to produce monthly consolidated reporting for the Group, including Board and Executives monthly reports. In addition, this role will be responsible for assisting with producing half to yearly external consolidated reports for the Group. This position will liaise with various business units & senior group stakeholders. The role reports to the Finance Manage within group reporting and has scope to develop & contribute to the success to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Group monthly flash report
• Preparation of Group monthly consolidation with key tasks including: getting Hyperion ready for month-end cycle, reviewing divisional data submission, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly CFO report to the Board
• Reporting matrix maintenance (ie: issuing Group timetable to divisions)
• Monthly tasks to ensure monthly management reports are completed
• Manage group cash flows adjustments and ensure Group work papers are prepared in timely manner.
• Review monthly divisional submission and identify unusual balance sheet movements and classifications, as well as ensuring all validations are clear in the system (ie no Interco mismatches exist at month-end)
• Preparation of monthly and half yearly loan covenants calculations / certificates and drive process improvements in current reporting process
• Prepare monthly forecast and yearly budget for Group Office Related entities
• Review the monthly Divisional forecast submission; liaising with Divisional FC to resolve issues, including Group intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare Group yearly reporting timetable for issuance to divisions
• Statutory pack maintenance for half and year-end reporting periods including reporting instructions and drive process improvements

Key Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA Qualified
• 3 - 5 years' experience within a Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm with exposure to ASX listed or multinational organisations OR post audit commercial experience in a similar role coming from a Big 4 environment
• Strong stakeholder management & ability to collaborate and work strongly in a team environment
• SOX exposure and previous experience with consolidations highly desirable
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written essential

Salary Range: $125,000 Package + Bonus
