Working within the Deloitte Private Team means you will work and act as a trusted advisor – a sparring partner specialized in working with private companies who they can consult on a wide array of issues.

Within our Finance & Operations (CFO Services) team of Deloitte Private Risk Advisory in Zaventem , we are currently looking for a (m/f):

(SENIOR) MANAGER FINANCE CFO Services

Responsibilities:

As a (Senior) Manager CFO Services within Deloitte Private you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate on making finance organizations of crown Belgian privately owned and managed companies future proof. You will be trained and coached in order to develop your finance skills and leadership capabilities.

You will help our clients in:

  • Rethinking the finance strategy and organizational design;
  • (Re)gaining control over the financial impact and efficiency of their processes;
  • Enhancing the decision making process by optimizing their accounting, closing, consolidation, and business controlling processes (e.g. planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, etc.);
  • Digitalizing the finance function;
  • Managing their working capital needs;

In addition, you will be encouraged to participate and provide input in our regular business development meetings to grow our services in this market segment. You’ll become responsible to connect yourself with new targets, and build strong personal client relationships. Together with the management, you will take decisions on people management and business development focus.

Your Profile

  • You obtained a master degree in economics or engineering or equally by experience;

You have a strong financial background and 6 to 10 years of experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Finance organization
  • Operational finance, closing, consolidation, financial or business controlling, and reporting;
  • External audit.
  • Consulting or Project Management experience is required;
  • You have a strong affinity with the latest technology evolutions in the area of Finance applications;
  • You are a hands-on person, result-oriented and quality-driven and you have outstanding analytical skills;
  • You have extensive experience with directing, preparing, reviewing and presenting client proposals, reports and presentations;
  • You are a team player, but can also work independently;
  • You know how to deliver exceptional client services;
  • You are a born entrepreneur and leader;
  • You can influence clients, teams and individuals positively, lead by example and establish confident relationships with increasingly senior people. Acting a trusted advisor is one of your core habits;
  • You easily understand the key objectives for clients and Deloitte, align people to those objectives and set priorities and direction;
  • Coaching others to success is your natural playfield;
  • Thanks to your good social and communication skills you know how to adapt to different types of environments;
  • You are willing to travel and work all around Flanders;
  • You have excellent project and time management skills;
  • Professional proficiency in English and Dutch is mandatory.
