Job Summary

A Director is responsible for client satisfaction and as leaders on engagements ensure that each engagement project is performed to our standards of quality and meets the needs of the client. Directors are focused on developing business opportunities in the marketplace and are valuable leaders within our organization and the business community. Directors are also responsible for the development of our personnel. They assist in the efforts to bring talented people to our organization, and will play a role in ensuring adequate resources are provided for the development of our people, including appropriate training, job experience, etc.

Specific Responsibilities

• Lead a broad range of routine and complex responsibilities related to client engagements, business development activities, and organizational management.
• Direct multiple projects and activities being performed by various levels of personnel.
• Maintain strong relationships with senior client personnel having established credibility and earned their respect.
• Act as an advisor to clients utilizing thought leadership and innovation.
• Take leadership role in organizational development activities.
• Manage portfolio of clients maximizing client satisfaction ratings, minimizing organizational risk, and ensuring profitability.
• Develop future business leaders by being an active mentor and by creating career development opportunities, especially for management level employees.
• Contribute to organizational success by developing recruiting strategy, participating in recruiting process, taking personal responsibility for retention of top performers, and requiring a positive work environment.
• Develop new business with existing clients across relevant products and industries.
• Enhance Protivitis market presence and exposure in the marketplace in order to develop opportunities with new clients. Contribute to development of Protiviti brand.
• Assume leadership role in business community and within industry associations.
• Demonstrate consistency in values, principles and work ethics.

Qualifications:

General Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of bank and/or credit-related regulatory requirements, specifically related to consumer compliance regulations (e.g., Federal Reserve regulations, Fair Lending, Privacy, etc.), and industry best practices for compliance programs in larger banking or consumer lending organizations.
• Prior project management and supervisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and train others on regulatory requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner.
• Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Detailed understanding of model validation and design concepts.
• Substantial programming experience with Mathematica strongly preferred, MatLab or equivalent tool acceptable.
• Experience interacting with US or global financial services regulators a strong plus.

Education & Professional Credentials

• Advanced degree in quantitative or related field, preferably at PhD level, strongly preferred.
• 15+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industryprior consulting experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and advancement within large, top tier global financial institutions or regulatory body.
• PRM, FRM, CFA, or CQF certification preferred.

Ability to Travel

• Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments.
