Work you'll do:
Global Finance is seeking an outstanding Manager to coordinate and produce strategic financial analyses and operational excellence projects defined by the COO, CFO, Controller or other leaders as requested.
The position is focused on (1) developing strategic analyses and presentations for the Global CFO, COO, and Operating Committee (2) managing special projects across the Global Finance organization including strategic assessments, business process improvement and program management (3) strategic communications to member firm CFOs and internal Leaders. This position will not conduct day-to-day financial operations activities or handle financial systems maintenance.
This role reports to the Global Finance Strategic Initiatives Management (SIM) Associate Director and is expected to work in concert with other SIM and Finance team members on the completion of deliverables. Over time, the candidate will be expected to develop an institutional knowledge of DTTL across our businesses, geographies, and industries.
Successful candidates for this position will bring a strategic perspective, strong analytical and project delivery experience, and a willingness to step into varied projects and contribute from the outset.
Responsibilities:
• Design, shape and execute detailed analyses to further quantify and validate opportunities
• Combine financial analysis with an understanding of the business to drive strategic insights and recommendations
• Work with constituencies to validate/socialize analysis, solicit input and direction, and develop recommendations and implementation plans
• Develop leadership presentations / reports for DTTL COO, CFO, Controller and Operating Committee
• Design and manage development of financial models, where required
• Drive strategic communications to member firm CFOs

Qualifications:
• Outstanding academic background: undergraduate degree with rigorous analytical and quantitative focus; MBA or Masters from a top tier program
• 3+ years (post MBA) at a top tier strategy consulting firm
o Experience in strategy development, project management, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business planning
o Ability to structure thinking in a logical manner and communicate ideas in an effective and articulate manner
o An independent thinker that can move to answers quickly supported by data and analysis
o Comfortable with ambiguity
• Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills required
• Outstanding written and spoken English required
• Advanced attention to detail required for success in this role
• Results-oriented with strong interpersonal/teaming skills and the ability to work effectively with and influence senior executives
• Ability to be self-directed and manage work independently
• Program management experience and ability to actively identify needed work activities and dependencies
• Proven ability to build strong relationships, establish trust, identify needs, customize solutions and motivate teams to drive operational and strategic priorities.
