CFO

I am exclusively partnering with a Challenger Bank that is looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer who not only possesses a strong track record in supporting growing businesses, but who also possesses a background of previously working in a start-up environment.

The organisation, a launching challenger bank, will service the tech industry, including blockchain and another emerging technology, with the goal of providing banking services with a strong emphasis on customer experience. They are currently under a licensing process and will offer their services throughout Europe and beyond.

Accountabilities
Build from scratch the Finance function to include:
- Treasury
- Financial and projections
- Regulatory reporting
- Accounting
- Financial and product control
- Cost control
- Strategic financial management
- Budgeting
- Audit liaison
- Tax

Requirements
Track record in successfully building, leading and developing teams within Investment Banking and start-ups.
Demonstrable experience in implementing frameworks, controls and financial governance to assess and minimise risk.

Working at board level advising on strategy and designing key performance metrics focused on profitability, capital, liquidity and risk management.

Previous experience supporting some form of banking license application is preferred

Proven ability to influence and collaborate with business and functional heads as well as a track record in working successfully with the C-suite
Ambitious, highly motivated possessing strong leadership skills
