Due to a restructure in the Finance department, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified accountant to join in a technical financial accounting capacity initially on a 6 month contract with potential for extension / conversion to a permanent role.

My client is a large complex organisation based near Cardiff.

Description

Due to a large restructure within the finance department, our client is recruiting an experienced, qualified financial reporting accountant to assist in the production of year end accounts.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the financial accountant will be responsible for;

Contributing to the Production of the Annual Statement of Accounts

Balance sheet recs.

Statutory returns

implement new IFRS16 standards

Employee disclosures

Any other ad hoc projects

Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and hold either ACA, ACCA CIMA or CIPFA qualifications

You will have excellent Financial Accounting skills.

You will have assisted or lead on year end accounts production.

You will operate at a high level on excel.

you will have excelent balance sheet management skills.

Job Offer

An inital 6 month temporary assignment.

There is potential that this role will be extended or can go perm.

Salary c£18 - £24 per hour
