Page Personnel have an exciting opportunity available for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to start an immediate 6 months contract at a growing business in Manchester. The role will be to support the purchase ledger team and also the wider finance team. For the right candidate, there is a possibility of this position becoming permanent.

A fast growing and vibrant communications agency with offices just outside of Manchester City Centre.

Description

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Manager, responsible for the full end-to-end purchase ledger and supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks . Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Processing high volume supplier invoices

- Query resolution over the phone and email

- Supplier statement reconciliations

- Manage team inbox

- Support with month end and year end

Profile

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Be immediately available for work

- Have at least 6 months experience within a similar role

- Be proficient with Sage

- Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written

Job Offer

£20,000-£22,000 + immediate start + close to public transport links + opportunity to go permanent
