Commercial Management Accountant

On behalf of a market leading organisation I am recruiting for a Permanent Commercial Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team based in Thatcham.

Client Details

My client has recently been through a period of growth after expanding their organisation, this has resulted in the need for more commercial reporting and hence the vacancy. The are accessible by all major transport links however driving is advised.

Description

The successful applicant for this permanent role will be responsible for the following key duties:

• Month-end postings for network revenue and accrued income (revenue recognition)
• Month-end postings for supplier costs and rebates
• Cash reconciliation for two entities
• Analysing consumer claims for two entities
• Reconciliations for supplier rebates and balance sheets
• Stock analysis and valuation on balance sheets
• Profitability reporting for two networks, including margin bridges
• Margin and P&L review with the senior leadership
• Leading profitability projects to improve margins

Profile

The successful candidate will have to posses the following:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Part Qualified
• Good working knowledge of systems
• Highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent Excel skills
• Analytically minded
• Critical thinking skills
• Results focused
