Reporting Accountant

A prestigious Building and Construction company based in Watford are seeking a Reporting Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a part qualified Accountant to join a growing company who value their staff and can offer great exposure and career progression. This role will involve stakeholder engagement, dealing with large amounts of data, Cash Forecasting and much more. You will be offered a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000.

Due to growth they are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant to manage their billing and cash process, partner with stakeholders and support weekly and monthly reporting. Description

• Working within their UK head office in Watford
• Cash flow forecasting
• Ensure accurate and timely financial information is recorded for Client billing and cash payments
• Prepare monthly journals
• Liaising with stakeholders to create accurate forecasts
• Allocate cash payments from the Client
• Continuously improve processes and reporting to manage risk
• Produce monthly Balance Sheet Recs for areas of responsibility
• Accruals and prepayments
• Ad hoc project work

• A Part Qualified Accountant
• Eager to learn and progress
• Proactive personality, happy dealing with large sets of data
• Can take ownership of the role and bring new ideas on board
• Stakeholder exposure is essential
• Proficient with Excel - Pivots & Vlookups
• A background within the construction sector is highly advantageous
