Our client are a true market leader and well established business within the Milton Keynes market. Continued growth of their Clinical Trials division has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team overseeing their EMEA function.

Description

Finance Business Partner - Responsibilities:

• Business partnering - Your role will have a wide range of stakeholders to work with as outlined above; balancing that with suitable and appropriate challenge and scrutiny is essential to the role.
• Budget management - working closely with your designated budget holders and service delivery teams is required to effectively and accurately manage the cost recovery process and manage budget targets. Having a good understanding of the activities within the various service delivery lines is necessary to provide effective support to the budget holders.
• Internal reporting - monthly management pack and monthly central reporting is required as per set deadlines. The information provided needs to be accurate, clear and appropriate.
• Month end process - review, analyse, accrue and make corrections as needed to ensure each cost centre data is correct. Create and manage effective tools to run this process smoothly within relatively short deadlines.
• Cost recovery - establish and manage the cost recovery processes. This includes establishing points of contacts, creating end-to-end processes with key controls and ensuring that information can be validated, to use to on-charge accurately and within agreed time frames.
• Compliance - ensure compliance with internal policies & procedures, financial reporting standards, and all else as necessary.
• Where necessary, undertake any other work and projects

Profile

Finance Business Partner - Requirements:

• Experience working in a similar role
• Proven track record of business partnering
• Good analytical ability and demonstrable experience of using your own initiative
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment
• Working towards an accountancy qualification (eg. ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
