Financial Accountant - 6-8 month FTC - £30,000 - £35,000 - Swindon

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading global organisation in the Swindon area who recruiting for an Financial Accountant on a 6 - 8 month fixed term contract. In this role you will be dealing with both the management team, as well as external auditors on financial reporting related enquiries.

Your overall responsibility will be to ensure the business is compliant with all statutory, taxation and accounting bodies legislation. Further keys tasks include:

• Preparation and submission of month-end accounts to Head Office
• Planning and control of Financial and SarbanesOxley audits and documentation supporting the SOX controls.
• Monthly cash forecast preparation and review.
• Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and query management.
• General accounts processing (including accruals)
• Journal preparation and posting

This is a fantastic opportunity working within a market leading organisation who hold a track record supporting and developing their employees.

Candidates applying for this position will ideally be immediately available and have a solid Accounts background within a medium to large organisation. Experience of using SAP would be advantageous. You will also be comfortable communicating across all levels of the business including non-finance personnel.
