Your new role
This is a role where you will be dealing with the full set of management accounts as well as business partnering. The duties for the role include:
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed by working day 10, and any
issues are highlighted, investigated and actioned in a timely manner.
- Hold regular aged creditor/debtor meetings and ensure aged items are investigated
and cleared in a timely manner
- Support the production of an accurate management accounts pack
- Investigate and report on significant variances against budget/forecast
- Support production of annual budget/quarterly forecasts
- Accurate identification of P&L risks/opportunities that may affect forecasts
- Liaise with internal and external auditors & provide accurate & timely information to
aid a smooth auditing process.
- Queries dealt with quickly & efficiently
- Identify inefficient processes and where possible propose changes
- Participate in ad hoc process improvement projects
- Assist in preparation of VAT and other regulatory returns.
- Prepare and agree inter-company reconciliations.
- Weekly monitoring and reporting of unmatched ledger entries
- Review purchase ledger invoice coding
