We are looking for a new colleague to join Experian Global Finance Services (GFS). Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.

The successful candidate will work within a team of FP&A Analysts undertaking a broad range of financial tasks for the business including month-end activities, forecasting, budgeting and financial analyses. He/she will be directly engaged with finance and business stakeholders to develop reporting and insights that inform management decision making.

Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the delivery of month/year end close activities from FP&A perspective for the dedicated EMEA markets
  • Ensure main business costs are under control (labour, capex, data and royalties, computers, etc.)
  • Produce accurate monthly cost forecasts and annual budget where the key assumptions and drivers are clearly understood
  • Understand internal/external cost recharges
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc MI reporting and provide insight into the results of the business for key stakeholders and clearly articulate the drivers for variances to budget and forecast
  • Work closely with Finance Manager and Finance Director as well as business leaders to understand cost drivers and help implement business optimisation and efficiencies
  • Work proactively to identify and drive opportunities for process improvements within finance and the wider business
                    

The successful candidate will have:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant science
  • At least 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience preferably in a multi-national business environment
  • Good understanding of financial management information
  • Ability to be proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary
  • Technical accounting skills and proficiency with Excel
  • Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE will be considered as advantage
  • Highly logical, numerate individual with an unfaltering attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English
