A large Plc global engineering business based in Solihull. The business works with leading International Companies to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Description

As Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Regular financial reporting - including month end reports, quarterly outlook reports, annual budgets and 5-year-plans
• Business partnering with finance team across the globe
• Monitor the financial and operational performance of the business
• Develop and prepare key corporate reports including monthly management accounts and forecasts
• Prepare and analyse business cases
• Ad hoc project as and when required

Profile

The Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant should:

• Have joined one of the top 4 Audit Houses as an Auditor and now looking for their first move into Industry
• Have a recognised accountant qualification (likely to be ACA)
• Have a top percentile academic record (degree level 2:1 and above)
• Effective communication skills with experience of interacting with stakeholders inside and outside of Europe
• Experience of working with Engineering and/or Manufacturing Clients
• A good eye for detail
• Have a strong analytic background and be good with numbers and interpreting data
• Extensive IT skills including advanced Excel
