Are you are an experienced Tax Manager with excellent client service skills?

We're the team that Deloitte's Senior Partners turn to when they need help with personal tax, corporate compliance and all things related to payroll, insurance, admissions and retirements. Join our multidisciplinary team of tax and accounting professionals as we strive to be trusted advisors to our Senior Exec team.

This role is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for building relationships with internal clients and to develop your tax expertise whilst being part of a highly reputable organisation.

What will your typical day look like?

As part of the National Partner Services team, you will work with a diverse range of internal clients to become a trusted advisor in delivering solutions to your clients. You will work with a globally competitive, reputable firm with access to world class thought leadership. Your strong performance will be rewarded and celebrated and you will have the opportunity to leverage our supportive and approachable senior leadership group.

Reporting to the Director you will be involved in:
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to a large number of partner family groups
  • Managing the tax compliance lodgements for your portfolio
  • Providing specialist tax advice and planning
  • Delegating and monitoring workflow
  • Mentoring upcoming talent in the team
  • Review of financial accounts and tax returns for a variety of entities
  • Assist Directors/Senior Managers with complex tax advisory projects
Enough about us, let's talk about you:

You will have strong communication skills with a passion for delivering superior customer service. You have exceptional attention to detail and capable of working in a fast paced environment.

You will also have:
  • Experience in managing a tax compliance program
  • A strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax laws
  • CAANZ or CPA qualification
  • Extensive experience in a business services role or similar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
