We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join Experian Global Finance Services. Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.
The role is partnering with the UK&I financial stakeholders and the business in the region. It is supporting the “Consumer Services” area of the UKI business and has a focus on month-end activities, forecasting and reporting.
Responsibilities:
•Contribute to the delivery of month-end close for Consumer Services area in UK&I by:
- Ensuring financial data is complete, accurate and all transactions are consistent with Experian’s accounting policies and IFRS
- Ensuring correct allocation of costs
- Owning selected balance sheet accounts and provide reconciliations/analysis to them
•Provide review and analysis of headcount
•Provide regular reports to stakeholders and clearly articulate the drivers for variances to budget and forecast
•Produce accurate monthly cost forecasts and annual budget
•Work closely with onshore Finance Business Partners and Business Leaders to understand cost drivers and help implement optimisation and efficiencies
•Work proactively to identify and drive opportunities for process improvements
Requirements:
•University degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant business field
•At least 3 years of experience with general financial accounting/financial analysis in a multi-national business environment in accordance with IFRS
•Good understanding of financial management information
•Strong stakeholder management skills
•Ability to be proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary
•Technical accounting skills and proficiency with Excel
•Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE will be considered as advantage
•Fluency verbal and written English
