Interim Finance Analyst

The Finance Analyst will be key to the visibility and management of operating costs across business functions, whilst identifying and driving efficiency, containment and process improvement opportunities. By building strong relationships within the business functions, you will gain new and improved insight that will inform key business decisions.

• Develop robust and supportable forecasting for the business, feeding in to monthly forecast and annual planning processes.

• Provide financial guidance for business cases.

• Identify information and reporting needs and drive / deliver high quality Management Information.

• Perform all required accounting and cost centre management pertaining to functions within remit.

• Expose a greater level of insight regarding drivers of cost and key indicators.

• Identify target areas for more efficient or effective business expenditure, and drive change.

• Build strong relationships at various levels including Director level management. Establish trust with stakeholders.

• Be a team player, working with colleagues to elevate the consistency, quality, and general credibility of the Finance function with respect to cost management.

Profile

• Full or partial post graduate qualification in relevant area / Membership of recognised professional body.

• Demonstrated high calibre financial understanding and capability, with a clear commercial awareness.

• A track record of personal growth through exceeding expectations and objectives.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with a proven ability to bridge financial knowledge-gaps.

• Strong stakeholder management and exposure to senior management.

• Demonstrated ability to identify business drivers and apply those drivers to effectively project business performance.

• Demonstrated ability to design and develop business performance reporting on financial and non-financial data, providing clear and insightful information for decision making.
