UK Financial Controller

Our areas of operations include Photo Imaging, Printing, Graphics, Healthcare, Ophthalmic and Digital Cinema.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller (ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified) to manage (and develop where required) the strong financial controls of the UK business. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the expectation will be to provide accurate and timely financial information with supporting analysis and commentary, maintaining the Company's financial accounting records, and managing and motivating the UK finance team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring a strong financial control environment is demonstrated, protecting the company’s assets.
• Maintaining accurate financial records via ownership of Company balance sheet and reconciliations.
• Delivering timely and accurate FLASH and management accounts and other business performance reports as required to the senior management team, providing a commentary that demonstrates a full understanding and sense check of the numbers via a strong commercial awareness, and an analytical approach.
• Managing the cash flows of the business
• Preparation and submission of accurate statutory accounts / HMRC returns / tax returns etc ahead of deadline, and ensuring that payments are made on time.
• Assisting in the production of the Annual Budget, and forecasts.
• Preparing annual statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
• Managing the UK finance team

Successful candidates will possess: 

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified
• At least three years’ supervisory experience a Finance Management position. 
• Strong analytical skills
