Finance and Compliance Manager

Direct reporting to GM, China and functional reporting to CFO

Company accounting, budget, tax and IT

Ensure prompt service and accuracy from outsourced accounting and tax accounting services
Manage the Company’s internal financial accounting system, annual budget and ad-hoc forecasts, reviews and ensure timely tax submission
Coordinate and supports office IT needs, working with external vendor(s)

Fund accounting, monitoring, reporting and investor services

Ensure prompt service and accuracy from external fund administration team
Responsible for the preparation of quarterly / annual fund reports, management reporting to HQ and prompt response to investor queries
Implement and maintain performance analytics database to support investment team and investor reporting / queries
ILPA reporting and facilitate FATCAand CRS reporting
Review investors’ capital statements, capital call/distribution notices, investment valuations
Monitor and manage all liquidity needs for the funds and fund managers
Oversee external auditors and tax agents with regards to funds’ audit and tax matters

Regulatory/Compliance

Monitor and ensure compliance of all relevant regulatory and legal requirements
Responsible for interactions with relevant PRC Regulatory Authorities and other regulatory entities

Experience/Qualifications

About 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in Asset/Fund management or Financial Services industry
Degree in Finance or equivalent from a reputable university
Familiarity with regulatory environment in financial industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Independent, pro-active, eye for detail, good follow through and the ability to work in a fast pace environment
Qualified under PRC law, include holding a Fund Operation Certificate
