We are currently recruiting for a Business Reporting Analyst to join our well established and market leading client in the Wiltshire region.
Client Details
Market leader in their sector, our client based in Wiltshire, have gone through some positive changes to maximise revenue through diversification. Due to the new focuses and channels, they have created a Business Reporting Analyst role to support this new direction and the key senior stake holders.
Description
Reporting into the Head of Group Finance, the purpose of the Business Reporting Analyst will be to:
- Support the CEO, CFO and Head of Group Finance in the preparation of materials used for the external and internal presentation of the Group;
- Provide accurate and consistent FP&A commentary on business activities and strategies across the Group, establishing trust and strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders.
- Provide accurate commentary on key competitors, markets and external influences, establishing trust and strong relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Work closely with Group Finance and Corporate Development colleagues on acquisitions and disposals.
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Relevant Accountancy Qualification, preferably ACA given the corporate reporting requirements. with the candidate will evidence a track record of success and progression.
- Experience and gravitas to work with and be able to challenge senior managers.
- Experience and charisma to work cross functionally around the Group, building effective and supportive relationships.
- Strong business and commercial acumen with ability to interpret and discuss business performance and messaging.
- Strong written and presentation skills to aid presentation of performance and business information appropriately to different stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and distil complex technical information into clear simple messages.
- Strong planning and organisation skills with ability to work to and deliver to tight deadlines whilst ensuring attention to detail and consistency.
- Experience of working in a Group structure, with multiple businesses.
