Our client is a leading real estate developer, property management and lettings company located in London's West End. Due to growth within their property management group, an opportunity has arisen for a Property Accountant to join their accountancy team.

Description

Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Property Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:

The role is dual responsibility of two areas of the business:

• Corporate accounting:

• Management accounting including: trial balance reconciliations; P&L and Balance Sheet

• Payroll for circa 25 staff in Sage Payroll including all the associated HMRC filings

• Creditors and Debtors reconciliations (circa 20 creditors and 10 debtors)

• Credit card expense reconciliations

• Ad-hoc duties for the corporate business

• Lettings and Management & Client Accounts:

• Accounting for circa 30 flats for Clients including rent and expense allocations

• Private client House maintenance circa 5 properties

• Raising invoices for management fees and maintenance to the clients ensuring all rents and expenses are captured

• Service Charge accounting for one block of apartments circa 12 flats

Profile

The ideal candidate MUST have worked as an Property Accountant previously, or Management Accountant in the Property sector, and MUST have used Sage Line 50

Salary of £30,000 - £35,000
