Assistant Site Accountant

As the RotherhamRotherham based Assistant Site Accountant, you will provide timely and accurate information of site performance and costs to assist the Site Accountant, Factory General Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Supply Chain Manager in decision making and analysis.

Description

The successful candidate for the RotherhamRotherham based Assistant Site Accountant role in this FMCGFMCG business would be responsible for the following;

• Complete accurate and timely product costings

• Complete and review site KPI's

KPI's

• Attend daily/weekly operations meetings and assist in performance review

• Understand and investigate production variances

• Assist in site budget and forecasting

• Track cost centres against budget

• Assist in stock control and attend quarterly stock takes

• Assist with year-end audit

• Provide transfer prices for Inter-Company

• Assist with month end duties

• Maintain fixed asset schedule

• Provide constructive challenge to Manufacturing and Supply Chain and drive improvements

Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Assistant Site Accountant should possess the following;

• Good eye for detail

• Good factory knowledge

• Good people/communication skills

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word

• Education minimum requirement/equivalent:

• Minimum 5 GCSE'sGCSE's or equivalent

• Fully qualified CIMACIMA/ACCAACCA or Part qualified and studying towards a recognizedrecognized accountancy qualification (CIMACIMA or ACCAACCA)

• General accounts experience

• Manufacturing/FMCGFMCG experience
