Tax Strategist sought for this reputable firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisors in Fife
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and successful business dealing with a variety of clients and organisations. The Tax Strategist role seeks solutions to direct tax technical issues and demonstrates sufficient technical knowledge to supervise relevant work.
Responsibilities:
- Build an understanding of the potential for selling into clients and intermediaries
- Participate in business development opportunities and work with partners and managers to promote the firm's tax expertise
- Build trust and respect from the client by producing high quality tax advice, accurately delivering to expectations, responding to client demands and delivering to deadlines
- Responsible for planning and performing tax consultancy assignments
- Provide general support to clients in the provision of tax advice
- Support Partners on tax planning and other ad hoc projects
- Demonstrate technical knowledge over relevant area of work
- Seek solutions to technical issues and demonstrates a willingness to understand and recognize the breadth of technical issues
Skills required:
- ATT/ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified
- Up to date tax knowledge
- Management experience
- Post qualification experience within a Corporate Tax environment
- Related specialism experience such as Tax Planning, IHT Planning and Corporate Structures
- Meet own financial targets
- Manage time and deadlines ensuring targets can be met
