Responsible for managing the International & International Finance monthly close and forecast process, the annual budget process, and the preparation for the monthly management review meetings. Supports Corporate and business unit projects. Generates reports, analyses, and presentations on an as needed basis. Develops relationships with Corporate FP&A staff, Corporate Accounting staff, and CFOs and their teams, in addition to folks from other groups within IGT. Becomes expert at few key sites to allow for swift responses to Corporate enquiries on select key accounts. Liaises with other groups to ensure comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Supports implementation of CFO International's vision for the Finance team.


  • Key contact point between Corporate FP&A and International team
  • Prepares the meeting materials used in the monthly actuals review with Corporate
  • Key contact point for Corporate Accounting (close issues, restructuring, hierarchy changes, audit fees, impairment analysis)
  • Identifies and follows-up on action items arising from the monthly Corporate Forecast & Actual Reviews
  • Participates in budget preparation, including but not limited to forecast input, presentations, bridges, commentaries, and cost analyses
  • Assists in the preparation for board meetings, earnings releases, conference calls, and other presentations on an ad hoc basis
  • Supports management with the detailed analysis of balance sheet & cash flows for actuals and forecast
  • Creates various financial analyses and schedules in support of forecasts
  • Directly supports International CFO on International finance (queries and requirements, actuals, forecast & reporting)
  • Identifies areas where cost improvements can be realized and assists in the implementation of programs to affect cost improvements
  • Builds reports and analyses for all aspects of the financial plan including sales, revenues, costs, capital, and free cash flows
  • Responsible for KPI reporting for weekly distribution, monthly management reviews & SVP offsites
  • Risk & opportunity management for the International region in order to hit planned segment and regional targets
  • Reviews restructuring entries for International and International Finance and ensures accurate recording and compliance with policy
    • Ensures SAP approval matrices are kept up to date
  • Tracks key metrics for Corporate, including initiatives such as synergies
  • Liaise with HR on items that have financial impact
  • Liaise with Investor Relations group - preparing Earnings (presentations and Q&A) and Press Release documents
  • Remains flexible in a challenging and fast-paced work environment, skillfully balancing changing priorities between different groups
  • Provides on-going training for finance staff
  • Supports operations projects
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested by the International CFO and SVPs
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Prefer Advanced Degree or certification (Masters or ACCA)
  • At least 5 years of progressive Financial Analysis and analytical/reporting experience
  • Experience working with Financial Planning and Reporting packages such as BPC, Hyperion and the like.
  • Experience working in an International / Multinational Environment.
