This is a great opportunity for an experienced and qualified accountant to join our global organisation at our site in Luton, a modern manufacturing site and a global HQ for the MTL business unit of our Electrical Division. You will be working across Measurement Technology Group and have responsibility for four manufacturing sites internationally as well as manage people on a functional basis. You will partner with accounting teams across the sites, analyse and forecast data, work on projects and provide support to MTL Group Operations Director.Eaton Electric/ MTL is a globally recognized manufacturer of system infrastructure products and protection equipment, especially suited for process industries. Essential Functions:• Supporting manufacturing month end closing process across allocated sites• Performing manufacturing, purchase price and checkbook data variances analysis• Preparing cost productivity data• Managing annual manufacturing budgeting process, monthly/ weekly forecasting process and supporting inventory count and analysis• Managing standard costing process and audit requirements• Supporting Group Operations Director ad working with Group Finance team• Project work
Qualifications:
• A relevant degree and/or CIMA/ ACCA qualified• Strong experience in an analytical accounting role for a large organisation• Ideally possesses experience in manufacturing accounting• Capable of working within a large, matrix based, multicultural organisation• Ability to functionally manage people at the distance• Experienced in reporting to senior management and project work• Advanced Excel skills and ideally experienced in SAP
