Interim Reporting and Consolidation Accountant

Robert Half are proudly partnering with a reputable manufacturing organisation in Cheltenham to recruit an Interim Reporting and Consolidation Accountant on an initial three to six month engagement. This position is centred around bringing clarity to the reporting structures for the business and requires both technical and commercial gravitas.

Role

In order to ensure clarity to the financial reporting process, you will need to utilise demonstrable technical capabilities within this position.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensuring that the relevant entities complete their submissions in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Support the function with any issues that arise in the month-end activities.
• Assist in the production of the month-end informative packs for Senior Leadership Team and the Board.
• Produce UK GAAP and IFRS accounting records for the relevant entities and communicate the information to senior colleagues.

Furthermore, you will work with various business units and will need to utilise business partnering skills to adapt to teams both within and outside of the finance function.

Profile

In order to be considered for this position, you will ideally be:

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Able to showcase demonstrable experience of providing technical accounting advice under IFRS.
• Confident in communicating the technical financial information at a commercial level.
• Confident in engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Confident in working within a Group environment.

Salary & Benefits

In return, you can expect between £300 - £350 per day (depending on experience).

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
