Group Reporting Accountant

Description

The Group Reporting Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of consolidation adjustments and maintenance of all relevant documentation

• Review of monthly plant level financial reporting submission, and analyse financial results

• Working closely with the finance teams across the Business Group to solve issues and provide advice

• Consolidation of statutory closing activities and various financial disclosure packages

• Preparation and maintenance of statutory closing documentation and assisting with external audit process
• Review of plant level supplementary reporting packages for high quality financial disclosures
• Participation in various corporate projects and preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis

• Constant maintenance and development of reporting systems to adopt changes and improve reporting efficiency

• Supporting local finance teams with the use of reporting tools and other reporting matters

• Supporting review, implementation, and execution of compliance matters / internal controls activities

• While this role is mainly one of support to the Directors of the Finance Team, this role is also expected to contribute actively to process improvements in the day to day activities of the department

Profile

The Group Reporting Accountant will be:

- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years experience

- Ideally from a practice background

- Inquisitive and proactive
