Internal Audit Executive/Senior

We are looking to recruit an experienced Internal Auditor to join a fast paced and growing organisation. We are looking for a proven leader who is able to influence at senior levels, deploy strong professional internal audit skills to provide sound advice and respond quickly to fast moving priorities.

Role Objective:

The Internal Auditor shall perform regular and special audits add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes in line with the vision and mission of the firm.

We require someone that has a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Internal Audit in a managerial position or 10-12 years as Executive in Internal Audit ideally, with a background in Oil & Gas Industry/Energy sector/Petrochemical Industry etc.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration (or related discipline) is highly preferred.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CIA(also preferable).

Experience

• 5-10 year experience in Internal or External Auditing (preferable in Oil and Gas companies or Petrochemical companies) or any related field, out of which 2-4 years in a managerial/ supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of internal auditing;
• Considerable knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Experienced in analyzing complex data, evaluating information, drawing logical conclusions and documenting findings in the form of reports to Management;
• Up to date with any new standards and developments in the profession of internal auditing.
• Working knowledge of automated audit software such as Caseware IDEA or TeamMate or any audit management systems etc.
• Intermediate level experience in a related role with experience in business, functional and people management, with proven abilities in taking responsibility for issuing to stakeholders high quality deliverables according to target timetables.
• Ability to work independently & deliver high quality work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.
